Oxford Branch – Open House

This October, our Oxford branch held its first-ever open house, an event months in the making and a strong step forward in building deeper connections with our customers and vendor partners.

Planning began over the summer, when Branch Manager David Spragins made the strategic decision to invest in hosting a large-scale event, something the location had not done since opening. Since space is limited, the team rearranged the branch to make room for vendor booths, seating, and food.

Once vendor participation was confirmed, we launched a focused promotional effort. Flyers were shared with customers starting in September, and the team followed up with personal outreach, calling every client in the week leading up to the event. Counter staff also played a key role, generating excitement and connecting with customers. 

To support the event, we offered a one-day-only tool sale featuring our lowest pricing of the year. The promotion was well received, and tool sales were strong throughout the day.

Lunch was provided by one of our clients who also runs a BBQ catering business. Vendors arranged  their displays and engaged with attendees at the event.. In total, we welcomed 68 customers, an excellent turnout for a first-time event!
